Do you have a website on the personal server?
If so, you must transfer your information to another location prior to August 1. Here are a couple of options:
- Move departmental information to your department’s CommonSpot website – discuss with your site’s administrator.
- Move academic information to the My Web server – visit the MyWeb website for instructions to create and move your files; OR...
- Move academic information to an ECU-hosted WordPress blog.
- Move personal information to your choice of hosted space (not ECU). Some free options include:

Method 1. File Transfer Protocol
There are free-standing FTP programs, such as FileZilla, Fetch and others. Dreamweaver and Expression Web have a built-in FTP feature.

Method 2. Mapped Network Drive
Faculty and staff can also access their personal site from a mapped drive on their campus computer (INTRA domain). Web pages can then be dragged from one folder to another.
