PirateID/Passphrase
Used to log in to electronic systems at ECU such as Piratemail and OneStop.
PirateID accounts are activated through the Pirate ID (PID) auto-registration system. Students are then able to set up their initial passphrase and authentication questions. ECU users are required to change their passphrase every 90 days. The authentication questions are used to log in to the passphrase maintenance system after the initial registration.
Once the PirateID is registered and the passphrase is created, a user can log in to the ECU e-mail account, OneStop, Blackboard and other electronic resources.

Each student is assigned a unique ID that allows you to register for classes and identifies you in other important systems at ECU.
