Services Provided to the Library By the Web Development Team

 

Website Maintenance

1. Routinely check the web pages against standards
2. Fill requests submitted by web form
3. Run upgrades and updates on technology

Support

1. Help library departments develop web pages and tools (e.g. forms)
2. Provide web statistics
3. Help with usability and accessibility studies
4. Provide learning opportunities concerning, but not limited to:
   1. How to use statistics
   2. Best practices in web design
   3. New tools
5. Work with other departments on joint projects

 

Production

1. Provide video, audio, and editing services for instructional sessions, forums, presentations, and tutorials


2. Work to integrate library resources and services with other appropriate university initiatives (e.g. distance education and blackboard)
