Joyner ILLiad Redesign
Joyner Library's Interlibrary Loan office has begun rolling out a series of improvements to the ILLiad interface based on feedback we have received from students, faculty, and staff. See below for a summary of some of the on-going changes. Once changes have been made, new online tutorial videos and updated instructions will be created. If you have suggestions, comments, or questions, please contact me.
-
A new logon screen.
-
The ability for ECU students, faculty, and staff to access ILLiad using their PirateIDs and passwords.
-
An easier new registration form for non-ECU patrons.
-
Replace ILLiad's Pull&Hold request form with the catalog's Place Hold feature. The catalog's Place Hold feature doesn't require you to login to ILLiad or to copy/paste citation and location information to make a request.
-
Simplified and prioritized main menu, which means lessscrolling.
-
Fewer request forms, so selection will be easier.
-
Links to instructions, tutorial videos, examples, and help imbedded where you need them within ILLiad.
-
More succinct text instructions and new, shorter online tutorials to answer your quick questions.
-
New color scheme using purple and gold.
-
and more!
I hope you enjoy the streamlined interface as the changes are released throughout the year! If you have suggestions, please let me know.
