If the above tells you that you have Java, JavaScript and cookies enabled, then you do not need to change your browser's settings. If not, here are some basic instructions for enabling Java and cookies for internet explorer and Netscape. Check your browser's Help section for more information.
Enabling JavaScript
For Internet Explorer version 6 or greater:
- Choose Tools from the top menu bar.
- Select Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab.
- Select the "Custom level" button.
- Scroll until you see "Active Scripting" Check the enable radio button.
- Click OK.
Mozilla Firefox:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click on the Content icon.
- Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
- Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box.
- Check the boxes under Allow scripts to section that you want to allow.
- Click OK until you return to the Firefox window.
ENABLING COOKIES
For Internet Explorer 6 or greater:
- In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
- On the Privacy tab, move the settings slider to Medium or Accept Most First-Party Cookies .
- Click OK .
Mozilla Firefox:
- Click on the Tools-menu in Mozilla
- Click on the Options... item in the menu - a new window opens
- Click on the Privacy selection in the left part of the window.
- Expand the Cookies section.
- Check the Enable cookies and Accept cookies normally checkboxes.
- Click OK until you return to the Firefox window.
For Netscape 6.x or greater:
- Go to the Edit Menu, and select Preferences.
- In the left pane, under "Privacy & Security", select Cookies.
- On the right side of the Preferences window, choose the action you would like from the list provided by Netscape.
- Click OK until you return to the Netscape window.
