The clipping file provides subject access to the North Carolina Collection’s clipping file of selected newspaper articles taken primarily from the Greenville Daily Reflector and Raleigh News and Observer. The file was designed especially for undergraduate students who need to do term papers. Although articles go back to the 1920s, the primary period covered is 1992 to the present.
Each date beside a subject heading in the database represents one or more articles published that year. To search the database, use your browser's "Find" function (click on "Edit" in the tool bar and select "Find").
To obtain the actual articles cited, please come to the North Carolina Collection desk, where staff will retrieve them. A self-serve photocopier is available in the North Carolina Collection. Copies may obtained through the mail at a cost of 10 cents per page. Mailing charges are $1.00 (25 copies or fewer) and $3.00 (more than 25 copies). Checks may be made payable to Joyner Library.
