Welcome to Explore NCC Online Tutorials. These video tutorials have been designed to assist all researchers who are unfamiliar with the North Carolina Collection in gaining insight into its holdings and methods of locating the resources held within. Explore NCC is comprised of six modules that run approximately four minutes each. Closed captioning is available by clicking the symbol that appears in the lower right hand corner of the video screen. Some people have reported audio problems with some of the tutorials. If you are experiencing such problems, updating to the most current version of Adobe Flash should solve the problem. It can be found for download here. After installing, be sure to restart your web browser to ensure that the update has taken effect.

If you have been asked to view these tutorials prior to coming to the library for an orientation to the North Carolina Collection, please be sure to complete the Explore NCC Online Quiz. If you are unsure of where you might find the answer to a question, the name of the tutorial where the answer can be found can be seen above the question itself. As part of the quiz you will be asked to input both your and your instructor's email address. The latter will allow your instructor to verify that you have taken the quiz and to review your answers. If you are unsure of your instructor's email, check your syllabus or consult the ECU online campus directory.
