Requirements for scheduling a videoconference at Joyner Library
When ECU Joyner Library is the host site, the following data are required to be submitted to the Joyner Library Video Conference Coordinator at least 10 working days before the requested event date.
- Title of class or event
- Course number or event description
- Full name, email, and phone of requestor.
- Full list of required terminal equipment (doc cam, VCR/DVD, PC, etc)
- Full list of all participating sites including:

- Full name of each site
- Event contact name, email, phone for each site
- Estimate number of participants at each site (including ECU)
- Requested date, start time, end time (or duration) and start/end dates if it is a reoccurring event.

When ECU Joyner Library is not the host site, the following data are required to be submitted to the Joyner Library Video Conference Coordinator at least 2 working days before the requested event date.
- Title of event
- Full name, email, and phone of requestor.
- Full list of required terminal equipment (doc cam, VCR/DVD, PC, etc)
- Full name of host site
- Contact name, email, phone for host site
- Estimate number of participants at ECU
- Requested date, start time, end time (or duration) and start/end dates if it is a reoccurring event.
- IP number to connect to
NOTES: The state of North Carolina has stopped supporting ISDN, the ECU Joyner Library facility no longer has any ISDN connections nor do we support ISDN in any way. All ECU Joyner Library connections are IP. At this time we do not support any other connections. The ECU Joyner Library facility does not support nor use MS NetMeeting, or Skype.
The ECU Joyner Library equipment is not set for auto answer. Remote sites requiring a test connection with ECU Joyner Library must contact the Joyner Library Videoconference Coordinator to set up a date and time.
The Joyner Library Videoconference Coordinator will confirm the room and equipment availability via email when all required data is received.
