This form is not intended to eliminate the need for discussion between Cataloging and the holding department about projects and collections, but rather it is intended as a mechanism to alert Cataloging about new projects and also as a place to record certain key aspects of the processing of those projects. It is expected that the cataloger will follow-up with the requester to get more information.
