ECU currently has subscribed access to this database on Harmonie Park Press' platform. ECU's trial access is via the EBSCOHost platform. The trial is intended to compare the usefulness and functionality of the databases's two platforms in order to determine if ECU should migrate to EBSCOHost's platform.

Description: Oxford Language Dictionaries Online (OLDO) features a variety of resources for language learners via its access to Oxford University Press’s unabridged bilingual dictionaries. In addition to providing access to the dictionaries themselves, OLDO provides native speaker audio pronunciation, and includes access to unique study materials offering extra assistance with learning and using an expanded range of languages. Updated every six months, the resource includes over four million words, phrases, and translations in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and Chinese.
