The Teaching Resources Center of Joyner Library and Scholastic Library Publishing are proud to sponsor a Librarian to Librarian Networking Summit. The summit’s theme will be “Can you hear us now?” and is designed to encourage media specialist/librarians to communicate with each other and the educational community at large in order to promote the essential role they play in student academic success. The sessions will be comprised of roundtable discussions facilitated by experts in the profession. A variety of current topics will be offered providing attendees the opportunity to select their choice for participation. Attendees are welcomed to bring resources to share during the group sessions. Frances Bradburn, Director of Instructional Technologies at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, and Evan St. Lifer, Vice President & General Manager of Scholastic Library Publishing will be keynote speakers for the summit.
