What opportunities are available for me to post jobs or internships with The Career Center?
The Career Center has an employer database, ECU CareerNET, that is available exclusively to ECU students and alumni. Posting a job or internship on ECU CareerNET will place your company profile and positions that you have available in front of thousands of qualified ECU students and alumni.

How do I post on ECU CareerNET?
Post jobs for free with our online career management system, called ECU CareerNET. Click here for details.

What is the process to register for Career Fairs?
Simply click on the 'Career Fairs' link in the sidebar navigation. You will be taken to our Employers Career Fairs page, which will list more information about our upcoming career fairs and give directions on how to sign up.

May I visit campus outside of the Career Fair to interview students for a posted position?

Most definitely! Please call The Career Center at 252-328-6050 to schedule an on-campus information session or interview session at ECU. We will reserve and schedule locations on-campus, as well as take care of marketing the interviews to the appropriate candidate pool. Employers have found that holding an employer information session the evening prior to the interviews can increase the number of prospective interviewees, as well as answer many questions candidates may have. We will help coordinate that session as well.

How can I assure that my position gets wide exposure and reaches the specific candidates I seek?
In addition to posting the position on ECU CareerNET, we can send the posting directly to students and faculty in the majors that relate to the job position that you are recruiting for.

May I visit campus to give a talk about my company?
Absolutely. We are happy to help arrange classroom visits and/or large group presentations. Please call The Career Center at 252-328-6050 or send an e-mail to career@ecu.edu to initiate the process. We will reserve and schedule locations on campus, as well as take care of marketing the information sessions to any interested students.

What salaries do ECU students expect to command?
We advise students to research appropriate salaries for their industry, location, and experience level and refer them to the Occupation Information at www.careerinfonet.org, which derives its wage information from data submitted by employers to the Social Security Administration. You may also want to check out the NACE Salary Calculator.

What is CSO and how does it relate to ECU CareerNET?
CSO is the parent company for our e-recruiting software, which is known as ECU CareerNET at ECU. By registering as an employer through ECU CareerNET, you are able to create a company profile, post job and internship listings, and accept student and alumni applications.
