The Adventure Program is a student-centered program with a mission to provide high quality outdoor activities to ECU students, faculty and staff.

The Adventure Program offers rentals, trips, climbing wall and clinics to assist the ECU community in going outdoors and experiencing new challenges with friends and new acquaintances. We are located in the Student Recreation Center off of Court 5 by the climbing wall.

Our trips are lead by trained ECU students or other qualified staff members. All Adventure Program staff have spent a lot of time, energy, and money to earn the distinction of being Adventure Program Trip Leaders. Each student leader is required to go through the 160 hour Adventure Program Leadership Expedition course, apprentice on a number of trips, and demonstrate the appropriate human, educational and activity specific skills before checking off as Trip Instructor or Trip Leader.
