It was with some anxiety that most of us try whitewater. Those waves look huge and in a boat by yourself!? How well do I need to swim? All thoughts we’ve had before we tried it. We were scared our first time, but found ourselves laughing as the waves hit us, thinking this is kinda fun. We survived! We did it! And now we love it.
We love watching the water run through the rapid, turning white and frothy and then calm below. We love watching the great blue heron fly quietly past, the small baby fish hiding as we paddle clear water. And the people, everyone looking to have a good time and relax from studying.
