Employees are eligible for a raise to Official II status (in addition to the year-to-year increase) once the official has started a second season for a particular sport activity. In addition, they must be deemed an outstanding employee and a strong official, who has a solid record of service as shown by satisfactory employment, which includes working at least 25 hours in a given sport season.
