CRW Volunteer Program

Campus Recreation and Wellness has two different options for students to assist with the administration of our various programs, services and facilities.

  1. Volunteer - Students are able to volunteer for Campus Recreation and Wellness's programs for academic credit, enjoyment and/or practical experience. Please see the steps below in order to start the short process.
  2. Community/Campus Service - Students also have the option to satisfy required/recommended community/campus service hours given to them by an attorney or by ECU's Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities by serving within the CRW housekeeping department. Those students should click here for additional information.

How do I become a CRW volunteer?
  • Each individual who volunteers must complete a CRW Volunteer Application.
  • Each individual must also join the Volunteer and Service Learning Center portal through OrgSync (click link to join, register in top right corner of page and then join the Volunteer and Service Learning Center portal).
  • After you complete the first two steps, individuals will meet with a CRW staff member to select the appropriate options for assignments. Meeting dates and times are available on the Calendar of Activities (Volunteer Interest Session) webpage.
  • Individuals will then sign-up for events through CRW's OrgSync portal (invitation will be emailed to you after the meeting).
  • Individuals will then volunteer at CRW events and will record their hours through OrgSync.
