Waiting List Information: For the weeks that are already full, you may sign up on the waiting list for the week(s) that you are interested by clicking here. 2013 Rec Junior Camp (Ages 5-8)
Rec Junior features the use of ECU's world class Student Recreation Center while exploring the different subjects of the world! Campers will have the opportunity to participate in the following activities each week relating to the different themed weeks:
- Swim (SRC pool)
- Rock climb at the indoor Climbing Wall
- Bowling (tentative)
- Physical activities and games
- Arts, crafts and experiments
- Guest speakers and on-campus field trips
- 1-2 off-campus field trips per week
The off-campus field trips include taking trips within Pitt and its bordering counties to visit various museums, historical sites, canoeing adventures, water excursions, and more. Camp activities are designed to help each camper become more independent and enhance self-confidence in a fun, safe and active environment.

Week 2: Mini-Pirate Week (June 17-21)
Week 3: Sports Spectacular Week (June 24-28)
Week 4: Stars and Stripes Week (July 1-5) **Excluding Thurs., July 4th**
Week 5: Great Outdoor Week (July 8-12) (FULL)
Week 6: Fun in the Sun Week (July 15-19) (FULL)
Week 7: Discovery Week (July 22-26)
Week 8: Wet and Wild Week (July 29- August 2) (FULL)
-Rec Junior Camp offers morning (9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) or an all day option. (extended hours available at an additional charge). Theme week activities will be different in the morning compared to the afternoon session.
2013 Recreation Nation Camp (Ages 8-12)
Situated at East Carolina University and its world class Student Recreation Center, ECU's Recreation Nation Camp features the use of the SRC while exploring the many attractions of Easter North Carolina. Each week campers will have the opportunity to:
- Swim (SRC pool and West Water Park)
- Rock climb at the indoor Climbing Wall
- Bowl
- Play sports
- Participate in Challenge Course activities
- Climb on the Alpine Tower
- Participate in activities and trips centered on the theme week.
The field trips include taking trips to various museums, state parks, historical sites, athletic facilities, canoeing adventures, water excursions, and more. Camp activities are designed to help each camper become more independent, enhance self-confidence and develop mind and body in a fun and safe learning environment.

-Recreation Nation is an all day camp with core hours form 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (extended hours from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. available at an additional charge)
