Camper Drop-off/Pick-up Area
All drop-off and pick-ups will be in the rear of the Student Recreation Center off of 9th Street . Please check the map/directions of campus and information concerning parking near the Student Recreation Center.

Directions

Turn off of 10th Street onto Charles Street (between Wendy's and Kinko's) towards Joyner Library.  Turn left at the stop sign onto Library Drive. A CRW Camp Staff member will be at the curb approximately 50 yards from the turn on the right side of the street.
CAMPER SAFETY NOTE: Drop-offs and pick-ups will not be allowed on the other side of the street (closest to McDonald's).  Also, please do not enter the parking lot directly behind the Student Recreation Center.

Late Arrivals/Early Pick-up

Special arrangements for your child to arrive late or leave early can usually be accommodated if advance notice is given. This notice should be given in writing at either check-in or check-out to the director or assistant director specifying the DATE, TIME and WHO will be picking up/dropping off the child. If you must bring your child to camp early and/or pick them up late on a regular basis then you must register for the extended care program.

Checkout Procedure
Parents/Guardians will receive a "pick-up tag" on the first day of camp. Any person wishing to pick up a child from camp must have the tag in order to be authorized to pick up a child as well as a picture ID. The tag should be hung from the rear view mirror of their vehicle so that it is visible to camp staff. If someone other than yourself or spouse is picking up your child, you must submit a signed noted stating who will pick up your child that day and have them use the extra pick-up tag. Children will not be permitted to leave the camp location unaccompanied by an adult. No camper will be permitted to walk unaccompanied to their home or another meeting place.

Please note the following policies for parents regarding drop off and pick-up of campers:
  • Please enter Library Dr./9th Street so that the passenger side of your vehicle is adjacent to the SRC. This will ensure a safer pick-up and drop off for your child so that they will not have to cross the street.
  • Pull up next to the curb and directly behind the car in front of yours. Please do not leave spaces between cars, as the process should flow smoothly with our staff assisting campers to and from cars. Please leave space for cars to enter/exit the various parking lots on Library Dr./9th Street .
  • Be courteous to other drivers. Do not leave your car unattended or double park at the curb as it adds to the congestion and you can be cited.
  • Be safe and cautious. Do not walk children between cars. Please watch for staff in the street and other cars entering/leaving the area.
  • CRW cannot be responsible for parking violation tickets.
