Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded upon the three principles of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love. Sig Ep is the largest fraternity organization in numbers across the nation. We are known for our academic achievements along with our athletic sportsmanship and performance. Our fraternity, NC Kappa, is known on campus as a friendly group of young men who enjoy creating a strong relationship with our new members, other fraternity members, and every sorority on campus. We are nationally founded in 1901 in Richmond, VA and were founded at East Carolina in the fall of 1961.
