2010 Incoming Freshman Scholarship

Overview:

This fall ECU National Panhellenic Council is pleased to announce the incoming freshmen female scholarship for the 2010 academic school year. This $500 scholarship is to reward and recognize women who are committed to academic excellence through scholarship, service, and leadership, and who have an outstanding high school career behind them. The winner should have excelled in academic achievement, activities and honors, and contribution to the community. The application requirements are as follows:

  • Minimum high school GPA of 3.0 or higher 
  • Extracurricular involvement     
  • Community service as an individual or as a member of an organization

Application:

Candidates must complete and online applications at http://www.ecu.edu/cs-studentaffairs/greeklife/panhellenic_webform.cfm. Please note ONLY online applications will be accepted. This link may also be found by going towww.ecu.edu and searching Greek Life, then going to the Panhellenic Council page.  The deadline for submitting applications is August 1, 2010.  Late applications will not be considered.

Verification:

The winner must supply an official transcript to verify standing GPA before receiving the check for the 2010 fall semester. Any other supplementary documents (i.e. official transcripts, letters of recommendations, etc.) should be mailed to:

The selection process will take place shortly after application deadline date and will include a review of all materials by the selection committee.
