Budgeting 101 (Wellness Passport approved)

This program is a great opportunity to gain some budgeting basics to help you keep track of your money and gain some practical skills involving money management! This program will be hosted by Dean Smith, Director of Finance and Administration for Student Involvement and Leadership at East Carolina University.  This workshop is created to be extremely helped for on-campus and off-campus students who want to start the semester off on the right track!!

 Cooking 101 (Wellness Passport approved)      

In collaboration with Nutrition Science, and Campus Dining, Off Campus Student Services will offer a free cooking class to help students learn how to prepare foods that are healthy and economically feasible. After preparing each meal, students get to eat the meal they created. If interested sign-up at OCSS@ecu.edu. 

Supermarket 101

Off-Campus student services are pleased to partner with Campus Dining to offer Supermarket 101.  Students will meet at one designated grocery store to learn about strategies to effectively shop for inexpensive and healthy food options. By participating, students will also learn about budgeting for food purchases.  Those that participate will walk away with some FREE groceries. Due to limited spaces please sign up at OCSS@ECU.EDU. We will announce the name of the supermarket as the date draws closer.  

Off-Campus Housing Fair

Off-Campus Student Services will host the first ever Fall 2014 Off-Campus Housing Fair on November 19th from 10am -2pm in the Mendenhall Great Rooms. If you are not sure where you’re living next year, or if you just want to learn more about preparing to move off-campus, you do not want to miss this event!  Students will have the opportunity to meet with local rental companies, staff from a variety of University departments, and representatives from the City of Greenville.  The event will include food, prizes, and invaluable information.

Happy Hour Programs

Happy Hour: Off-Campus Style allows students the opportunity to meet with a representative from OCSS to answer on-going questions students have about living off-campus at a time and location convenient for them while enjoying a refreshing beverage!!!

 Wake Up Wednesday                                                                                                                                               

 Off-Campus Student Services will be at a local bus stop the first Wednesday of each month from 7:30am – 10:00am.  This ensures communication between students and Off-Campus Student Services while allowing Off-Campus Student Services to engage in passive programming!!
