Important Message from Academic Advising

Parents as registration begins we encourage you to read the message below from our Academic Advising and Support Center:

As students are getting adjusted to their spring 2014 courses, academic advisors on campus will be contact your students to invite them to set-up advising sessions for summer/fall 2014 registration.  Students are assigned to registration windows during pre-registration based on total earned credit hours.  Students may begin registering for courses during their registration window if they have their 6 digit registration PIN code.  Student PIN codes change every registration period, students must meet with their academic advisor for a pre-registration appointment prior to registration to obtain this code!

Once students have met with their advisor and obtained their registration PIN code, they are ready to begin preparing for registering. Students should prepare by researching and creating a potential schedule based on the suggested courses discussed with their advisor. Students should also identify several alternative classes for their schedule.  Registration is scheduled to begin on March 21st and lasts until March 28th.  Students are allowed to make schedule adjustments until 5pm on May 20th for summer sessions and September 2nd for the fall semester.  When your student has advising questions, be sure to encourage them to contact their assigned academic advisor for assistance.
