Parents Council Committees

The Parents Council has four diverse working committees which work in conjunction with the PC mission.  Click the name of each committee to see its responsibilities and current projects:

-- Careers Committee:helps facilitate the partnership between ECU students, their parents, and the Career Center toward the successful alignment of students' talents and passions with job opportunities and successful careers.
-- Communication Committee: provides an effective way for the Parents Council to communicate with ECU parents - informing them of up-to-date campus news and providing them with simple access to other internal links within the ECU website.
-- Programs: ensures that the Parents Council is actively engaged in building relationships with parents, the community and the university by participating in events and programs that support students, their families and other philanthropic causes.
-- Development: raises funds and secures resources with the intention of supporting programs and services that meet the needs of students and families; and, supports the university community-at-large.
