Pirate Palooza

ECU’s largest welcome back celebration took place Monday, August 24th from 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.  Filled with Pirate traditions, students had the opportunity to listen to live music, participate in interactive activities, and sign-up for a chance to win prizes.  Free food was also available.  The tradition of “Walk the Plank” continued where students experienced what it was like to run through the football tunnel and a cloud of purple smoke as they stormed the field.

Barefoot on the Mall

This annual event is held every spring with entertainment on the University Mall and is coordinated by the ECU Student Activities Board.
