The Student Activities and Organizations Office is committed to supporting all student organizations on campus. Located in 114 Mendenhall Student Center, we are here to serve as a resource for organizations and for all students looking to be involved on campus!
Our office provides two full-time staff members dedicated to the management and administration for the numerous student organizations active our campus. We invite you to explore our website for additional information and/or visit with us face-to-face.

Congratulations to the Healthy PIRATES for winning the “Outstanding Creativity in Personal Safety” award for the peace.love.pirates.cure Cancer Awareness Event at the 32nd annual BACCHUS Peer Education Network Conference in Orlando, FL this weekend. This program was chosen from thousands across the United States as an outstanding health education program on college campuses. The theme for the conference this year was “Super Heroes for Health” and celebrated Peer Education groups from all 50 states. The Healthy PIRATES also placed second in the Super Hero Costume contest for being “Wellness Super Heroes”!
The Healthy PIRATES continue to create and present award-winning programs on our campus and have emerged as leaders in Wellness Education and Promotion across the US. Their programs are sought-after by many schools and they are known for their enthusiasm and passion at the Peer Health conferences every year.
