If you are looking for an organization but can’t find what you are looking for on OrgSync, consider starting a new organization!
New organizations must have a minimum of ten interested members and the form entitled 'New Student Organization Request' form can be found under forms under the 'Get Involved' portal on OrgSync.
Once admitted into the recognition process, organizations must have at least one member attend three workshops, where information is shared on General University Policies, Building a Constitution, Reserving Space, Fundraising and Handling Money, and Risk Management.
After attending the workshops, organizations must have a consultation with the Student Activities and Organizations staff showing how the organization they want to start is different from an organization with similarities. Final approval will be decided from there. In all, this process usually takes about three-four weeks to complete.
