East Carolina Judicial Board is comprised of students who serve as peers in addressing incidents involving students. Students on ECU’s judicial boards work alongside the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities to hear cases involving any violation of ECU’s Student Code of Conduct. The accused student will have the right to present information regarding their behavior and explaining the situation. They will be informed of what policy violation they are being accused from the University. A judicial panel of board members will then decide whether the student is responsible or not responsible for the violation, and if found responsible the panel imposes an appropriate sanction.
