Welcome from the Director
We are all facing a time when financial constraints deeply affect the way universities and colleges do business. These constraints in no way decrease the significant challenges posed by the health issues among students. By using creativity and increasing effectiveness, Student Health Services continues to provide high quality care as well as opportunities to address the health behaviors, risks, and preventative needs of our students to ensure academic success and promote lifelong health.

Our accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care demonstrates the excellence of our programs and services. In support of the University and Division of Student Affairs, our mission is to provide the highest quality of health and preventative care during your college years to help you reach your academic goals and become good health and cost wise consumers for life.

The Student Health Services staff understands the profound impact that health problems can have on all aspects of campus life. We offer a wide array of services, programs, and activities to improve your health and encourage an environment in which you can become engaged and learn. We hope you will use our services during your time at ECU and please let us know how we may assist you in meeting your health care goals.

Welcome to ECU and GO PIRATES!
