Pharmacy: Prescription services are available for ECU employees. Please call for questions or pricing (252) 328-6793, option 3, or visit our pharmacy page.
We can fill prescriptions from Student Health Services as well as those written by outside providers, for most common medications. Unfortunately due to cost and storage availability, we are unable to special order items not in our regular formulary.
Over the counter medications and/or supplies are also available for purchase.
Please note:due to manufacturer constraints, some products are only available for students.
Medical Services: The ECU Family Medicine Rapid Access Clinic located in the Student Health Center closed permanently Friday, May 9, 2014. Any patients scheduled for a visit after May 9 will be contacted and rescheduled to see Dr. Susan Keen at the ECU Family Medicine Center on the health sciences campus. The east campus clinic opened in 2010 to provide health care services to ECU employees and their family members.
The Department of Family Medicine and Dr. Keen appreciate the support the clinic received from the many patients that sought care during its operation. Unfortunately, underutilization of the clinic caused financial constraints that resulted in ECU Physicians consolidating services to streamline operations. The consolidation of the department's services will improve efficiencies and provide a broader spectrum of services to patients. Dr. Keen and physician assistant Terry Icard will continue to provide care to ECU employees and their families at the ECU Family Medicine Center, located at 101 Heart Drive.
To schedule an appointment, ECU employees can call the ECU Rapid Access hotline at 252-744-0555.
