Our x-ray department is for use by patients after seeing one of our
providers. The department provides digital radiological service and
recommendations for a variety of skeletal problems.
X-ray: The
department uses a state of the art Phillips Optimus Diagnostic machine.
X-rays are preliminarily read in house by a Student Health Provider.
Final readings are provided by Eastern Radiologists.
Personnel:
Our X-ray technologist is certified with the American Registry of
Radiological Technologists, a certification organization that provides
standards of performance for radiology personnel.
Charges:
• X-ray $35.00 each
• CD of X-ray image $10.00 each
Casting:
The Student Health Service does not provide hard casting but can
provide patients with crutches, splints, knee stabilizers, ace bandages,
and hard shoe stabilizers. Referrals are made to Orthopedics East for
all hard casting requirements.
