A one-day on-campus orientation will be held on August 17, 2017. At orientation you will learn about academic policies, discover campus resources, get your ECU 1 Card and meet with your advisor and register for classes.
Orientation check-in will be held from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and should conclude by 5:00 p.m. The cost for attending orientation is $100 for students. The fee covers the cost for student’s ECU 1 Card, program materials, meals, parking, shuttles service, facility usage, and staffing. If students are living on campus they can move in the day before, August 16, 2017. However, after you register for orientation, you must email orientation @ecu.edu to let us know you have contracted with housing, are attending the August 17 orientation and plan to take advantage of the early move-in on August 16. Your email must include your full name (no nicknames), Banner ID, ECU email address, and the room assignment you received from housing.Family orientation sessions run concurrently with student sessions and introduce family members to resources available to their student at ECU. The cost for family members is $50 for the first family member and $20 for each additional family member. This cost includes meals, parking shuttles, facility usage, materials, and staffing.
