Orientation Sessions 1 (June 15-16), 2 (June 17-18), 3 (June 22-23), 4 (June 24-25), 5 (June 29-30), 6 (July 1-2), 7 (July 6-7), and 8 (July 8-9) are closed.
Congratulations on your acceptance to ECU! You will find that ECU is a warm and friendly campus with faculty and staff who are anxious to assist you in achieving your academic goals. We have prepared an orientation program to assist you with the transition to the ECU community. You will have the opportunity to meet with an advisor, attend academic sessions, take placement tests, and register for your classes. A walking tour will be offered during check-in only, so arrive early if you would like a tour.
At orientation, you will learn strategies for student success, discover campus resources, meet other new students, get your ECU 1 Card, meet with an advisor, and register for classes. Please bring a picture ID (valid driver’s license, state-issued ID card, passport, or Military ID in order to receive your ECU 1 CARD.

Congrats on becoming a Pirate! You are one of 3,000+ new freshman to do so! Now how do you find your people, your friends? You're here to learn the in's and out's of ECU. During this 4 hour paddle you'll find some friends just like you....friends excited for college, who love being on the water, and who want to meet others.
Sundays, 1:00-5:00pm, June 14, June 21, June 28, July 5, and July 12
Thursdays, 3:15-6:30pm, June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9, and July 16
Cost: $15 per person
