Belk Residence Hall
Belk Hall opened in 1966 and took its name from Henry Clay Belk. Partially blind, Mr. Belk served on the President’s Committee for the Physically Handicapped. East Carolina University became a leader in providing equal collegiate opportunities for the disabled through the aid of Mr. Belk.
