The sign-up College Hill Suites will be online, along with all other on campus spaces. The links and access information for the online process will be sent via e-mail in the last week of February. Please check your e-mail for specific information.

March 3rd – 15th: Starting 9 am on March 3rd and ending at 5 PM on March 15th: Students should sign their 2009-10 Academic Year Contract in advance (and select a room later on the schedule below) OR Students can sign their 2009-10 Academic Year Contract and select to stay in the same room (if available) for next year without having to return to this site to select a room. During this time, you will be able to select and confirm roommates.  Your requested roommate(s) must confirm and sign a contract by March 15th to allow your placement together. 

• If a student signs up for their same room with a new roommate, and their current roommate signs up for the same space during the contracting period (before the room selection dates) the new roommate selection will be canceled. Either of the two current roommates can contact Campus Living to request their same room request to be canceled so they are able select new assignment.  
• To participate in room selection, students will need to update their housing preferences and electronically sign their 2009-10 Academic Year Contract by March 15, 2009. 

Online Room Selection Dates (9 AM - 9 PM Each Day) 

• March 17th March 18th (Closes at NOON) : Room Selection & Room Change for current College Hill Suites Residents ONLY
• March 19th : Displaced Student Group # 1 (Students in this category will receive an e-mail letting them know their room selection dates.)
• March 20th :  FX Students & Displaced Student Group #2 (Students in this Category will receive an e-mail letting them know their room selection dates.) 
• March 23th – March 31st: Any Hall Any Room – Current Campus Living Students wishing to change halls or neighborhoods for the next year.
• March 30th :  Any Hall Any Room – Off-Campus Students wishing to live on campus for the next year.

• The 2009-10 Campus Living Contract requires all students to have a meal plan. Pirate Meal Plans offer the best value for your dining dollar and provides a set number of meals per week. Your choices vary from the 19 Pirate Plus that gives you 19 meals per week to the Pirate 9 with only 9 meals per week.  If you are not sure what meal plan is right for you, visit the meal plan wizard online at www.ecu.edu/dining.

• We highly encourage all students to read and understand the  Campus Living Contract for the 2009-2010 Academic Year before signing up for a space.
  

• If you would like to select an incoming freshman as your new roommate, contact Campus Living at 328-4663 before you select your room online. Current students may be selected as a roommate as part of the Online  sign-up process.
  

• Roommate Selection:  During this time (March 3rd– 15th) you will be able to select and confirm roommates; your requested roommate(s) must select you and sign a contract by March 15 to allow your placement together. Each roommate must select and confirm the other roommate(s) before the contracting dates end on March 15th.
  

• If you are planning to select roommates for a suite in College Hill Suites you may select one roommate and select a room.  If you would like to sign up for both rooms in a suite, students should select their roommate and coordinate the selection of a suite at the same time.

• Same Room in the Same Hall:  If you are signing up for the same room in the same hall, you do not need to return to the site to select a room. Students staying in their same room that wish to have an incoming student as a roommate, you should contact campus living at 252-328-4663 by March 13th.
  

• Room Selection:  Students who electronically sign a contract and DO NOT select a specific room will have a room selected for them after March 31, 2009.
  

• Not Sure?  You can sign up at this time, select a room, and cancel your contract without penalty up until May 31, 2009. So if you are not sure where you want to live in the fall, you can always sign a contract, select a room and decide later.  To hold your selected space, your payment of your $100 Advanced Room Fee must be made by April 15, 2009.

• Changing my room selection?  There will be opportunities in late March (23rd- 31st) to make changes to your room assignment, but to have the best selection; students should take advantage of the specific room selection dates above.
