The Office of Co-Curricular Programs and Cultural Outreach
Thank you for visiting the website of the Office of Co-Curricular Programs and Cultural Outreach. The primary work of the office is to enhance student learning and contribute to student success by supporting faculty with creative, curriculum-driven programs, resources, and events that occur outside of the classroom.
In addition to supporting academic objectives, co-curricular experiences typically inspire a range of outcomes that include:
- Stimulating students to reflect upon personal or familiar principles, morality, and ethics;
- Encouraging critical thinking;
- Expanding student awareness of practices and beliefs of various cultural groups;
- Fostering meaningful interaction between faculty and students beyond the classroom;
- Developing an understanding of global citizenship.
