Calling ALL Veterans
Transitioning from active duty to college life?
Trying to find out just where you fit in?
Returning to civilian life and to college can be challenging. The three most important words for campus veterans are adjustment, adjustment, adjustment. You have the discipline, maturity, and commitment to succeed in college. So let’s get together for a little peer-to-peer support as you transition from the battlefield to the classroom.
We will meet for one hour each week during the fall semester at the Center for Counseling and Student Development.
For more information, please call Connie Durham at 328-6661.

A Little "TLC"....for when a relationship ends
Words sometimes cannot describe the sense of loss, despair, and hopelessness that may accompany the end of a relationship. Yet it is something most everyone experiences at some point in his or her lifetime...a time when a little TLC might be needed. In TLC you will be surrounded and comforted by others going through a relationship’s end. You will know that you are not alone. TLC is a place where you will be regarded compassionately as you heal.
TLC meets weekly throughout the semester. You may attend as many or as few sessions as you feel you need for your heart to heal.
Wednesdays from 3:45-5:00pm
*Beginning September 23, 2009*
For more information, contact Diane Bradshaw in the Center at 328-6661. Diane will contact you to set up an initial Q&A session.

Bridging the Gap? A COED Interpersonal Processing Group
(90min ~ once a week)
Hey ladies and gents. Do you sometimes feel like you have to be everything for everybody? Are there times you feel like all of your relationships are on the rocks? Or do you find it hard to understand those from the opposing gender?
If you answered yes to one or all of these questions, you are invited to join the Bridging the Gap group and meet with other men and women dedicated to discussing their concerns, fears, and thoughts in a safe confidential environment. A counselor will facilitate the weekly groups, but the topics and discussions will be generated by the members. This group is designed to run 8-10 sessions.
