Challenge Course Fees
Fees and charges for the ECU challenge course are based on several factors. Members of the ECU community are the primary clients we serve and are charged accordingly. School and church groups operate primarily for the benefit of youth and are served as a part of our youth development mission. Adult non-profit organizations are generally served by more experienced facilitators that are paid at a higher rate and operate at a higher level of sophistication. Therefore, these groups are charged accordingly. We offer business and corporate clients in-depth planning and follow-up by program administrators and corporate facilitators. The additional time and effort required to plan and complete this level of leadership is reflected in the floating nature of the scale.

ECU student groups include those challenge courses included in an academic setting, team sport, club, Greek or other student based organizational unit on the ECU campus.
ECU staff groups include managerial units, academic departments or other organized group (such as the Supervisors’ Institute).
Public school groups include all community based groups that are comprised of children in public school or of public school age enrolled in a program, such as a summer camp, boys/girls club, church group, or alternative education organization.
Other school and church groups include private schools, adult church groups or other community based group comprised primarily of adults.
Government and non-profit groups is a category that supports government entities that are on limited budgets, but whose participation will enhance the community through their professional service, enhanced via the challenge course experience. Non-profits are business or community groups that serve the community and are not engaged in the pursuit of profit.
Corporate groups generally come to the challenge course with an established, goal-oriented agenda that requires a higher level of processing and challenge. This requires a more sophisticated facilitation and the people to lead. Additional sessions are often recommended and fees adjusted appropriately.
