 Program Options

The ECU Team Training Center offers several different options in program scheduling in order to meet group needs. All programs are tailored to meet your group’s needs and goals and dates and times are arranged for your convenience. Groups must contact us at least 3 weeks prior to any proposed program dates. Dates fill up quickly (especially for summer)- typically groups must contact the Team Training Center months in advance in order to be able to reserve a program.

Below are a few of our program options that are available. We are also available for presentation or speaking opportunities for classes, workshops, or conferences concerning leadership and team development through challenge and adventure. Please contact us so that we can discuss the type of program that will best suite your group and maximize your effectiveness, teamwork, and fun!

This full day program focuses on cooperative games, trust activities, group initiative tasks, communication exercises, and low elements events. These activities challenge participants to use and develop higher thinking skills, interpretation, application, analysis, and synthesis. Low Elements and Alpine Tower Experience

This is typically a full day program, with the first part of the day beginning with group games and initiatives to build the basics of trust and cooperation. We then move to the woods for our Low Elements to refine team building skills and build on individual successes. The last part of the day (typically done after lunch) utilizes the 50 foot tall Alpine Tower in order to provide high excitement and challenge and help individuals and the group to overcome physical and mental barriers. Specialized gear (harnesses, ropes, ground anchors, etc) and trained technicians are provided in order to manage risks. Group encouragement and collaboration is welcomed and participants can have a vital role even if they chose not to ascend the Tower.

Half-Day Tower Experience

This 3-4 hour program takes full advantage of the Alpine Tower in order to provide fun, high challenge, cooperation, and excitement to a group. The Tower allows individuals to push through physical and/or mental barriers and expand their comfort zone. You can learn a great deal about yourself and your group members when you are attempting to ascend this 50 ft structure. The Alpine Tower has several options for routes and several fixed or hanging elements that can provide different levels of challenge. Group encouragement and collaboration is welcomed and participants can have a vital role even if they chose not to ascent the Tower. The Tower can be used for paired and small group initiative challenges and can help groups bond and share a common experience as group members explore our unique vertical world.
