Aquatics Facilities Use Policy
1. No one may enter the pool without proper lifeguard supervision.
2. All participants must enter and leave the pool through the dressing rooms. Other doors are emergency exits only.
3. There is no deep water. Diving is strictly prohibited.
4. Steps, ramps or ladders must be used to enter or exit.
5. All swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
6. Only clean aqua shoes or flip flops are allowed on the pool deck.
7. Appropriate non-transparent swim wear must be worn. No cut-offs or thongs allowed.
8. Large or loose jewelry is prohibited. Lifeguards will determine the safety of any questionable jewelry.
9. Persons with infectious conditions such as colds, open sores or eye infections will not be permitted in the pool. No bandages or adhesive tape will be allowed in the pool.
10. Swimmers must swim counter-clockwise to accommodate maximum numbers.
11. Please utilize speed designations for lanes in choosing the lane most appropriate to your ability level. This will ensure a smooth flow of lane traffic.
12. Lap swimming will consistently be available in the 8-lane section of the pool. Lap swim in designated lanes only.
13. Floating, playing and leisure activities will only be available in the leisure section at specific times.
14. Personal flotation devices are prohibited in designated lap swimming areas with exceptions for handicapped individuals. Any use of personal flotation devices for children or adults must be approved by the lifeguard on duty.
15. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must remain in the aquatic facility with the guest.
16. Actions which could endanger oneself or others are prohibited. Pushing, running and unnecessary roughness are examples.
17. Children over 5 years of age are required to use the appropriate locker room accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same sex. A family locker room is provided.
