Win a Free Climbing Trip

In conjunction with ECU Reads, we are offering 8 students a free climbing trip. Read Three Cups of Tea, respond to a short question and you could be climbing for free on November 21st, 2009. Contest rules can be found here.

Trip Information

Adventure Programs trips offer students, faculty, and staff the chance to get outside, learn new skills, visit beautiful areas and have fun. Our trips are staff by trained leaders who want to share their passion with you.

Most trips are designed for those with no experience, unless stated otherwise. If you have more experience, we can often make accommodations for your skill level.

Trip Cost

Trip costs include all equipment, transportation, and instruction. For overnight or multi-day trips, the cost includes food & lodging/camping.

The first cost is the for students and members of Campus Recreation & Wellness. The second cost is for guests or faculty/staff of ECU who are not members of the Rec Center.

Trip Registration

Adventure Program trip and clinics are open to all ECU students, faculty, staff and their guests. Members of the Student Recreation Center pay the member cost; guests and non-members pay the non-member trip cost. All students pay the member cost.

You can register for a trip by visiting the Adventure Center, located in the Student Recreation Center. We accept cash, check and VISA/Mastercard.

Payment must be received to register for a trip.

 

Trip Refunds

ECU Adventure Program reserves the right to cancel a program due to inclement weather, natural disasters, or extenuating circumstances.  In the event the ECU Adventure Program must cancel a program, a full trip refund will be provided. 

Should a participant choose to cancel, 50% of the trip cost will be refunded if the ECU Adventure Program is notified of cancellation 14 business days prior to any overnight trips' departure date or 7 business days prior to any day trips' departure date.

No refunds will be given inside of 14 or 7 business days.

Pre-Trip Meetings

Pre-trip meetings allow you to meet the trip staff and other participants, ask questions, learn the itinerary and ask questions regarding the trip. Pre-trip meetings take place at 6pm, unless stated otherwise.
