Attention all incoming freshmen for the 2010-2011 school year!
Do want to live and connect with other people who care about personal wellness and helping others? If so, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! For the first time ever, ECU is offering a Wellness Living Learning Community to students who want to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. If selected, you will get personal wellness coaching and health classes designed just for you. You will also have an opportunity to go out into the community and share what you have learned with others.
The goals of the Wellness Living Learning Community are to:
-
Create an environment that encourages and promotes the development and maintenance of a healthy body, mind, and spirit through a wide range of wellness programs.
-
Enhance learning potential and academic success through creating a community that facilitates optimal health.
-
Motivate students to make a lifelong commitment to keep wellness a priority.
-
