Week 1: Into the Wild Week - June 9-13
Into the Wild Week promises to be an adventure for all campers. Campers will climb the Student Recreation Center climbing wall; explore the underwater of a water park, and discover nature while on a canoe trip at the North Campus Recreation Complex. Campers will also have the opportunity to visit the N.C. Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores.
Week 2: Discovery Week - June 16-20
Campers will have the opportunity to travel to different places around eastern North Carolina in a quest to discover information about the past, present, and future by visiting different museums, a planetarium and exhibits. Of course not only will we keep our minds busy with exciting field trips, but our bodies busy through fun physical activities and games each day.
Week 3: Fun in the Sun Week – June 23-27
Join us for a week filled with tons of fun, sun and adventure. Campers will develop team work and problem solving skills as we participate in challenge activities and climb on the 50-foot alpine tower. Campers will also be able to enjoy a trip to Atlantic Beach, a trip to a water park and a canoe trip.
Week 4: Mini-Pirate Week - July 7-11
Campers will have the chance to be a Pirate for a week, ARRRGGGHHH!!! This week the campers will experience college life firsthand, but without all the homework! They will have the opportunity to visit several exciting places on campus including athletics and academics while utilizing the Student Recreation Center by playing various sports, climbing on the climbing wall, and swimming in the pool. They will also be able to take a break from campus while visiting a local water park.
Week 5: World of Sports Week – July 14-18
Campers will have a chance to participate in many different activities relating to sports. They will get the opportunity to skate at Bladez on Ice, swim at West Water Park and learn about the various types of martial arts found in the world. Campers will have the opportunity to play basketball, soccer, and flag football along with many more sports during the week. Campers will also have the opportunity to go and watch a Kinston Indians minor league baseball game.
Week 6: Wet n Wild Week - July 21-25
Campers will have the opportunity to challenge themselves with many water activities during the week. They will take a trip to the beach as well as a local water park where they will enjoy the hot sun and cool water and participate in various other activities including the gigantic Slip-n-Slide at the ECU Blount Sports Complex.
