College ALC Online Course - Welcome New Pirates!
Passwords and access to this course will be available starting the week of July 28th. Please look for passwords that will be mailed to your ECU e-mail account during the week of 7/28. College Alc is an on-line alcohol education program. We here at ECU are pleased to offer you this program as we are committed to the intellectual and personal development of our students. The misuse of alcohol is the #1 health and safety issue on all college campuses. Poor choices concerning alcohol negatively impacts Grade Point Average (GPA). Additionally, alcohol strongly correlates with accidents and injuries, violence, vandalism, and other issues.
Quick Fact: Most ECU students who consume alcohol do so moderately and safely, and many students opt not to drink at all.
We want you to be safe, healthy, and well-informed students. ECU is requiring all new, first semester freshmen under the age of 21 to complete the College Alc program by October 10. This program takes approximately 75 minutes to complete. College Alc will allow you to explore safe and responsible choices about alcohol, and also the role of alcohol in the collegiate experience.
