Freshman Scholarship

Overview:

This fall ECU Interfraternity Council is pleased to announce the incoming freshman male scholarship. The $500 scholarship aims to reward men with outstanding high school careers entering their first year at East Carolina University.  It will only be awarded to an applicant who is enrolled full-time in fall of 2008.  The winner should have excelled in high school in scholarship, leadership, and community service. The requirements for application are:

• Minimum high school GPA of 3.0
• Exceptional extracurricula involvement
• Community service as an individual or as a member of an organization

The winner must supply official transcripts to verify GPA standing before receiving the check.

The selection process will take place shortly after the application deadline and will include a review of all materials by the selection committee.
