National Pan-Hellenic Council

Description:  The National Pan-Hellenic Council is the governing body for the nine historically African-American fraternities and sororities. These include Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. Currently on the campus of East Carolina University, we have eight of the nine Greek-lettered organizations, excluding Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. All of our organizations were formed based on service to the community and scholarship.
