Hire-a-Pirate Part-time Job Fairs
Each year SEO hosts job fairs that help students find employment opportunities while they attend school and that assist campus departments and local businesses in meeting their staffing needs of part-time and seasonal employees. The Fall 2008 fair was a huge success with over 900 students on hand to network with both campus departments and local businesses seeking part-time workers.
Virtual Job Fair – January 9-22, 2009 – this is a great opportunity for students to search for part-time jobs both on and off campus. The Virtual Job Fair allows students to search for part-time job opportunities via our online jobs database, Career Connections. Campus departments and local businesses should contact SEO at 252-737-4473 or hireapirate@ecu.edu to find out how to post their jobs for this fair.
Summer & Fall Job Fair – April 14, 2009 – this fair will allow students to explore an assortment of summer jobs as well as line-up part-time campus jobs for when they return to ECU for the Fall 2009 semester. The timing of this fair will benefit employers who rely on student workers being able to begin work prior to the start of Fall classes. Employer registration information
