Salary
All vacant positions at East Carolina University are advertised through Human Resources by going to their employment website at www.jobs.ecu.edu. The State of North Carolina utilizes the Career Banding pay plan, where market rates have been established based on comparable positions in the outside market. The purpose of these market reference rates is to allow the state to be more competitive so that we may attract and retain outstanding talent. These rates have been established at the state level at the Office of State Personnel and will be reviewed minimally every three (3) years to remain competitive with the outside market.
