The Office of Student Involvement compliments the academic mission of the University by engaging students in experiences and opportunities to foster development of the total student, through collaborative programming, student governance, advocacy and experiential leadership opportunities.

 

 

Mission Statement

 

The Office of Student Involvement is committed to student success by developing students through intentional and purposeful experiences. Our programs help students to become productive citizens by helping them to learn and practice life skills such as decision-making, planning, and problem-solving.

 

Our office initiatives and programs complement the curriculum with outside the classroom experiences that foster student awareness and involvement, enhance student governance and advocacy, develop leadership skills and stewardship, and provide experiential leadership opportunities.

 

Our office will utilize student involvement theories to engage and empower students in the development and enhancement of their personal growth. This will be accomplished through delivery and development of student focused programs aimed at collaborative campus dialogues and assessments.
