Goals and Objectives
Goal 1: To assist the Student Government Association in serving students at a high level.
Objective 1: Coordinate a semester long series of workshops for Congress to orient them to SGA/University policies and procedures.
Objective 2: Assist the Executive Branch to implement their platform by restructuring and defining the cabinet and class officer roles.
Objective 3: Work with all branches of SGA to increase communicationand deliver of student services.

Goal 2: Develop the LeaderShape Institute into a premier program.
Objective 1: Create a Freshman and Sophomore experiential leadership opportunity that fosters student awareness and involvement.
Objective 2: Facilitate a mentoring program that allows ongoing student to student interaction among participants and to foster connections between peers and the University.
Objective 3:Support students in the creation and implementation of a vision statement and plan of action that will enhance the University.

Goal 3: Increase student awareness and involvement of leadership honorary societies.
Objective 1: Promote and publicize leadership initiatives of Omicron Delta Kappa, National Leadership Honor Society.
Objective 2: Re-activate Golden Key International Honour Society.

Goal 4: Establish Office policies and procedures.
Objective 1: Engage in sound fiscal decisions by forecasting revenues and tracking expenditures.
Objective 2: Record and maintain accurate SGA and Campus Involvement documents in hard copy and digital formats.

Goal 5: Provide opportunities for engagement and outreach for campus and Eastern North Carolina.
Objective 1: Integrate Emerging Leaders program into COAD 1000 course.
Objective 2: Re-organize and promote Leadership Corps.
Objective 3: Formulize a process for student representation on University committees.
Objective 4: Provide a link between the University and Tier One counties through the DiscoveryLeadershipAcademy.

Goal 6: Develop a strategic plan for the Office of Campus Involvement.
Objective 1: Research and implement new programs to meet University and Community needs.
Objective 2: Create timelines specific to the implementation of office programs.
Objective 3: Assess needs and effectiveness of current and future programs and initiatives.
Objective 4: Create a marketing campaign to promote the vision and mission of the Office of Campus Involvement.
