ECU Student Health Service is pleased to announce their receipt of the AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care) Institute’s Innovations in Quality Improvement Award in Primary Care for 2006.
This award is given in recognition of ECU Student Health Service's development, implementation and demonstration of a successful and measurable quality improvement project in the area of Asthma Evaluation and Management Review.
ECU Student Health Service is the only Student Health Service in the country to receive this award for primary care in 2006.
The award demonstrates excellence in identifying areas for quality improvement and designing interventions that have led to positive outcomes.
Application to the annual AAAHC Institute award is open to the nearly 3,000 organizations accredited by AAAHC.
